Mermay 2018 - 11. Werewolf

Wow, this was a doozy. But it came out pretty well in the end.

I imagine a bit of a story behind this. About a werewolf living on a deserted island somewhere, as a man he befriends wandering merfolk that come by, then when the full moon comes around one of them who's unlucky enough to visit then become dinner.

Mermay 2018 - 8. Vampire

I suggested to a friend that I should draw a sparkly vampire mermaid. She had a bit of a violent reaction to that... Fortunately there are plenty of bloodsucking sea creatures out there! So here's a leech mermaid! Watch out, she's hungry!

Mermay 2018 - 7. Seafoam

The first thing that came to mind with "Seafoam" was of course a mermaid turning into foam like in the original "The Little Mermaid" story, but I thought that was too obvious and too sad, so I went with this instead.

Wetdress

A wetsuit/dress. This was one of those ideas that I had to draw right away.

Last minute I also decided to attempt a bit of a background. Overall I think it turned out very well.
